Northern Lights at The Nature Inn

Here are some of my favorite shots from Thursday, October 10th, when the Northern Lights were visible to the naked eye at the Nature Inn. Everyone at the inn felt lucky that night, as Mother Nature put on a show for us around the campfire.

Charged particles from the Sun are ejected toward the Earth, and their interaction with our atmosphere causes the Northern Lights. For many folks, the Northern Lights are a natural wonder they have only heard about and seen in pictures. On this night at the Nature Inn, our guests and I all felt fortunate to share this incredible experience.
